Weatherton POA 6/17/2025
Present: Tammi, Bobbie, Pam, Dustin
Absent: Grace, Sarah, Debbie
Pool Change code, waiting for locksmith. Gate latches but is loose.
Camera needed for pool. DVR style system, wired in pool house, 2 cameras (aim for under $500). Need Skimmer net. Lock box on the gate (realtor box) for necessary items. You’re on camera! Sign. Motion sensor lights, need new bulbs.
We got 11 more payments, still behind on dues paid. Discussion on next actions for past due POA dues and how to help individuals who are past due: i.e. payment plans.
Contractor fell through, have to find a new one. We were going with GN(C?) and they were going to have a different person do the work. Discussion on new contractor from previous bids. POA taking over construction since neighborhood contact fell out.
Neighborhood Updates/action items
Signs Quotes, H frames for 18x24 no soliciting, green and white, reflective plus installation: 637.58 plus tax (35 inches high, 6 inches in ground) Or Permanent 1392.50 plus tax18x20, 75” high, 2 ft in ground
Look into rectangle pool cover for D ring threaded insert into concrete for more affordable cover option. Pool resurfacing cost. After those costs are determined we can see if we can pay for any events. See if we can push it to next year. 2024 quote was $18k and included extra rail. Consider resurfacing in the spring before pool opening, say around April, we could use 2026 dues.
Regarding the land between neighborhoods: City likely sold some of our land OR they found someone to handle the land. Possible option to sue the former developer and recoup losses. Title search in progress, Vested as Jones Group Inc. , can’t locate the active entities, possible it’s been dissolved, recently sold in 2022 to an individual. No deed has been filed/located for the land.
