Thank you to all of those who could join us and meet with the City members.
A few notes of recap from the meeting.
-Attached are the plans from the city in regards to the project.
Construction will begin in about 1 month and is expected to last anywhere from 8-12+ weeks.
-Tunneling will begin under 264 and once complete the Owen street entrance/exit will be closed for the duration of the project as the building moves along Price Ave.
Only one entrance to the neighborhood will be open and during this time we will be working with the city police to enforce towing. NO VEHICLES PARKED IN THE STREETS!
-This will become a major safety issue with only one entrance open and several streets diverted to reach the second entrance.
-3 homes face Price Street and will be given special parking permits to allow them access to their homes.
This will affect the pool parking, as the overflow lot will be closed for a period of time. Please be considerate of your neighbors when using the pool and ensure you do not park blocking driveways or mailboxes.
-Homeowners are within their rights to tow anyone blocking their driveway.
The city has offered for those who want to forgo their deposit returned for the Septic system to have their tanks pumps and grinders checked by a plumber. Once the city switches on the sewage connection (sometime around November) it will be the homeowner's responsibility to care for their tank and pump. More details closer to the time.
Once the sewage has been switched over, the bill will come from Springdale Water for the connection. No fees/deposits will be associated with the switch.
